The Bible

We believe the Bible, comprised 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. In faith we hold the Bible to be inerrant and infallible in the original writings, God-breathed, taught by the Spirit to those who are spiritual and the complete and final authority for faith and practice.

(Mat 5:18, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Peter 3:16; Proverbs 30:5; 1 Cor 2:13)

Godhead

We worship and believe the only One, Living, Sovereign, All-Glorious, True God, who revealed Himself as three distinct Persons sharing one indivisible essence in the mystery of the Trinity, having all attributes of deity—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

(Deu 6:4, Matt 16:16; Job 42:2; Psalm 115:3; Psalm 138:5; Mat 28:19, 2Co 13:14;)

GOD the Father

We believe in God the Father, being in spiritual form, righteous, perfect, immutable, holy, fountain of all-things, loving provider of needs and eternal security. He is the loving Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and of all who trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

(Mat 5:48; Joh 1:12; John 3:16; Joh 4:24; J ohn 17:1; John 17:25; Gal 3:26; Gal 4:4-7; 1 Cor 8:6;1Co 1:3; Malachi 3:6; Psalm 102:27 )

God the Son

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, as God the Son, eternally begotten not made, without beginning, in the fullness and unified perfection of His deity and humanity, being truly God and being truly Man. He was conceived by the virgin Mary, lived a perfect obedience to the Father, sinless life and that all of His teachings are true.

(Mat 1:2; John 20:31; John 1:1-2,14; Col 2:9; Heb 1:3, 2:14; 1John 3:5; Ph 2:5-11; Col 1:15-17)

We believe in the active obedience of Christ towards the full, perfect, pleasing will of God, living to please Him daily walking in the fullness of righteousness, in all of what He say and do as the Father does. We hold that His life of righteousness is imputed to all who truly believe in God prior to the cross and all who trust Christ thereafter.

(Isaiah 53:11; 2 Cor 5:21; Romans 3:26; 4:3; 5:18-19; Galatians 2:16)

We believe in the passive obedience of Christ died on the cross as a sufficient substitutionary atonement absorbed the full punishment of God, to provide expiation and propitiation for His friends, His sheep, His Bride- those who truly believe in God prior to the cross and all who trust Christ thereafter.

(John 1:12; 1John 2:2; Psalm 103:12; Isa 53:5-6, John 10:14-15, 15:13; Rom 3:25-26; Rom 8:1; Gal3:13; Eph 2:3-6, 5:25; Heb 9:27-28)

We believe in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures to vindicate the saving work of His life and death.

(Mat 28:5-6,1Co 15:1-5; Romans 4:5)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven in His glorified body and is now seated at the right hand of God as our King, High Priest and Advocate- interceding for His people and reigning until He puts all of His enemies under His feet.

(Act 1:9-10, Rom 8:34, 1John 2:1, Heb 1:3; 2:8; 4:14, Act 5:31; 1 cor 15:25)

GOD The Holy Spirit

We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit, who is actively at work in regenerating sinners and dwells permanently in every believer. He is the agent by whom Christ baptizes all believers into His body. He illumines their hearts and minds, to be equipped in studying the Scripture, praying, living and serving God, convicts believers regarding sin and righteousness leading to godly repentance. He is the seal by whom the Father guarantees the salvation of believers unto the day of redemption

( John 14:25-26; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Corinthians2: 12 )

Man

We believe that humanity came into existence by direct creation of God and that humanity is uniquely made in the image and likeness of God. Man was originally sinless but through the disobedience of the first man, Adam, all mankind sinned and fall short of God’s glory, separated from God, condemned of death everlasting and rendered totally unable to gain God’s favor of forgiveness and eternal life by self-effort.

(Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:17; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-14)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We believe salvation is received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Good works and obedience are results of salvation, not requirements for salvation. All who truly repent and trust Christ as their Savior and submits to Christ as their Lord are born again and are eternally secure.

(Ephesians 2:8-9; John 6:37-40; John 10:27-30; Romans 8:1; Romans 8:38-39; Ephesians 1:13-14)

Things to Come

We believe the last days begun in the first coming of Christ, when He established His Kingdom by His finished work from humiliation to exaltation and with His second coming, when He will make all things new.

The tribulation is an increasing reality of suffering and persecution, described as birth pains with its peak on the revelation of the great apostasy and the Antichrist - towards greater deception.

King Jesus will come in power and all glory, ushered with a loud shout, trumpet of God and voice of the Archangel - to raised up those who died in Christ and rapture those alive together with Him. To wage along against the beast and destroy the enemies, banishing them to eternal fire to be tormented day and night.

Then King Jesus will judge all men resurrected from the dead, opening the book of works and book of life. And anyone who is not in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Then the new heaven and new earth, where the new Jerusalem the Holy City will be coming on earth where God will dwell with His multitude of redeemed people from every tribe and nations praising and enjoying Him forever.

(Heb 1:1-3, 2:8; Matt 28:18-20; Dan 2:34-35; Dan 2:44-45; Dan 7:26-27; Matt 24:14; Matt 24:5-12; Matt 24:9; Rev 12:11; Matt 24:13; Matt 16:18; Matt 24:21-22; Dan 9:27; 2 Thess 2:2-7; Matt 24:15-22; 2 Thess 2:7-10; Rev 20:7; 1 Cor 15:51-53; 1 Thess 5:4-5; 1 Thess 4:17; 2 Thess 2:1; Matt 24:15-22;2 Thess 2:7-10; Rev 20:7; 1 Thess 4:16-17; Rev 19:11-16; Rev 21:1-9)

The Church

We believe that the Universal Church is made up of all true believers in Christ, both Jew and Gentile, united into one Body by the indwelling Holy Spirit, in which the Lord Jesus Christ is the Head.

Each local assembly should be an expression of the Universal Church manifested in its unity, purity and verity.

We believe that the church is the means of grace where believers are being sanctified and disciplined, to make disciples, to teach and observe all God have commanded. Founded on the truth and testimony of the Incarnate Word and His disciples, the church must be faithfully steward, proclaim the whole counsel of God and guard the entrusted word.

It is central in God’s plan for evangelism, teaching, disciple-making, edification, sanctification, worship and fellowship. And is to be faithfully pastured by plurality of godly men in the assembly as elders who oversees the spiritual welfare of the assembly.

(Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42-47; Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; 1 Corinthians 12:27;Philippians 1:1; Colossians 1:18; 1 Timothy 3:1-15; 1 Peter 5:1-5; 1 Peter 2:5-9; Ephesians 4:11-16)

The Ordinances of the Church

We believe that there are only two ordinances of the Church, of which the Lord ordained to symbolize the gospel in a believer’s life:

Baptism is done once by immersion, symbolizing the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection to walk in newness of life.

The Lord’s Supper is done often which is an essential part of our worship, carried out in remembrance of Him. The bread and the cup symbolize his body and blood. In the Lord’s Supper, we proclaim the Lord’s death until His return.

(Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 22:19-20, Acts 2:42 Acts 2:46, Acts 8:37-39, Romans 6:1-4, 1Corinthians 11:23-32)
